Netaon, dharmguruon, policewalon ki bheed nikal gayi
Par do haath gaadi chalenewale gali mein jale pade the
Kisine unhiki gaadi ki lakdi ko sandal bana diya tha
Aur tyre ko... ghee*


* After the politicians, religious leaders and policemen had left
Two hand cart pullers lay charred in the street
Somebody had used the wood from the cart for their pyre
And the tyres as... ghee
